seven CfMC employees elected to industry offices
In 2006 and 2007, several CfMC employees will continue the company’s service to the marketing and survey research industry by serving as volunteer board members and volunteers with the industry’s leading organizations.
These CfMC staff members were recently elected to positions within the industry:
- Adam Berman, President-Elect, Pacific Northwest chapter - Marketing Research Association
- Denise D’Andrea Treasurer, Greater New York MRA chapter
- Brian Fowler, VP Internet Communications, San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association
- Gene Filipi, Assoc. VP Sponsorship, San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association
- Richard Rands, President-elect, Pacific Chapter of the American Association of Public Opinion Research
- John Maxson, VP of Business Management, San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association
These dedicated individuals follow in the footsteps of other CfMC employees like Joyce Rachelson, VP/Director of Product Sales.

Joyce Rachelson has just completed two years as Membership Chair for NYAAPOR and is starting another two year term as Director at Large for TTRA. She has been an active volunteer and board member of many different Market Research organizations for the last 23 years.
“As participants in this industry, it’s our duty to play an active role in education and development of the profession. What helps the industry, helps CfMC,” Rachelson said.
Another longtime industry service provider is CfMC President, Richard Rands who has served in several industry support roles including PAPOR, AAPOR, and chapters of the American Marketing Association, most recently serving his second term as President with the SFAMA.
“The professional associations in our industry can only survive through the volunteer efforts of talented people like those at CfMC. Our contribution to these groups is a wonderful way to demonstrate our commitment to the industry and to provide excellent leadership training opportunities," Rands added.
CfMC has offices in San Francisco, Denver, New York, and London. Its clients include Nielsen Media Research, The Gallup Organization, JD Power and Associates, and Maritz Research.
