New Survent Release Introduces WebCATI

WebCATI, CfMC's Web-assisted CATI system brings more flexibility, mobility, and global power to Survent, the most robust CATI program on the market.
WebCATI's centralized sample, quota, and quality controls, interviewers can be based anywhere in the world or simply work at home. Additionally, WebCATI facilitates multi-modal methodology and helps researchers respond to a changing labor market.
WebCATI can also be used to provide an additional service to your clients in enhanced customer service. During a telephone interview, you can send an email to a dedicated customer support service person. Thereby extending the value you deliver to both the participant and the client.
Review our recent article in MR Business, the publication of the British Market Research Association, the voice of UK Market Research community.
WebCATI can be introduced in your shop at no increase to your monthly CfMC bill. A three-day training session is required for WebCATI.
Introducing SPLOG (AKA Spec Blog)
At this year’s Users’ Conference, some of you requested an on-line bulletin board for users to communicate and/or share files. In response, CfMC introduces Splog. Spec-Talk meets Blog = Splog. Splog is available to all CfMC clients free of charge.
We also recommend that all clients register with Spec-Talk, our automated e-mail list for group discussion of topics and issues among CfMC users...and only Spec-Talk users can post messages and interact via Splog.
Spec-Talk is a CfMC-moderated electronic forum that allows clients and CfMC employees to discuss relevant issues, ask questions, contribute suggestions, and get help from each other. In contrast, Splog is a vehicle for users to interact and is not moderated by CfMC staff. We may, however, chime in from time to time if we find it will help the discussion.
All CfMC clients are asked to have at least one of their staff to be a member of Spec-Talk, but you can have as many subscribers as you like.
