2008 CfMC training agenda
At $150/day these sessions are designed to keep your skills sharp and up-to-date without more costly on-site training sessions. The topics for these sessions are based on the most frequent requests for support.
Attendees are encouraged to bring laptop computers to participate fully. Wireless access will be available to attendees at no additional fee.

Tuesday, March 11 Sessions
track 1: Two-Day Fundamentals of Survent Training, day 1
Fundamentals of Survent (all day)
This training is intended for:
- new Survent users
- users who have yet to receive official training
- users who would like to update their knowledge of the more current Survent versions
Basis of training will be version 7.7. Working knowledge of some of 8.1 features also will be provided. This training session will be a condensed version of our standard three-day Survent training session.

Three (3) PRC contact hours in each of the following: Technology Trends/knowledge, Questionnaire Design, or Written/Verbal Communication are available for this session.
track 2: a la carte sessions
webSurvent/webCATI - programming multi-language surveys (morning session)
This training is intended for existing users and will show how to setup webSurvent and webCATI multi-language jobs. We will use version 8.1+ features but also show also how to run existing 7.7 setups.

Three (3) PRC contact hours in Programming or Technical Knowledge are available for this session.
Mentor: post-collection data processing and reporting (afternoon session)
A refresher course on db files and table manipulation plus data cleaning and reformatting for non-Survent users.
Who should attend this session: Non-Survent users and light/experienced Mentor users.

track 2: Managing CfMC Shops - a la carte sessions for research managers and supervisors
New for 2008 - "CfMC CATI Operations Reporting” and “CfMC Overview for Newbies” will be web cast LIVE! Registration is required to participate on-site or remotely. Please the Web cast page for more details.
CfMC Operational Reporting (morning session)
We'll cover all aspects of the operation of a CfMC interviewing site, including sample management, study control, and data delivery issues.

CfMC CATI Operations Reporting (afternoon session)
This session is intended for non-programming staff (including research supervisors and managers). The session will include an introduction to webSuper, overview of Supervisor capabilities, shop management & new Supervisor features.

2008 users' conference sessions and tracks
The 2008 conference sessions are organized with your job function in mind. Attendees may follow their interest and attend sessions in any track.
Bonus! All of our training and breakout sessions have been approved for Professional Researcher Certification credit! A total of 33 hours of PRC credit are available to attendees.
Business and Sales - This track is for managers of research firms and those selling your research services. These sessions will help you make the most of CfMC software and communicate the advantages of CfMC software to others. Three (3) PRC Credit Hours have been approved for breakout sessions in this track. See the session details page for more information.
Programming and Reporting - This track focuses on developing CfMC programmers' skills, keeping you in the loop about new developments, and gathering feedback. Three (3) PRC Credit Hours have been approved for breakout sessions in this track.
Call Center Operations and Systems Administration - This track is designed for call center supervisors and project managers. Three (3) PRC Credit Hours have been approved for breakout sessions in this track.
