To help you enjoy your stay in our home town, we've scheduled a few entertainment options for your consideration.

Wednesday and Thursday, March 13 - 14

Please join us Wednesday evening in the India Suite (with the exhibitors) of the Stanford Court hotel for the President's Reception and CfMC Birthday Party. Refreshments will be provided

Thursday evening, after the first day of sessions, plan to attend the CfMC 40th Anniversary Party. Dinner and celebratory refreshments will be provided. We'll be celebrating our San Francisco heritage with a tribute to the decade of our founding - the 60's!

Friday evening, March 15

CfMC Open House and Trolley Ride, 6 - 9pm

All aboard for a fantastic voyage around San Francisco!

Trolleys will leave the Stanford Court Hotel at 6pm Friday evening for a tour of San Francisco. We'll visit all the historic sites - Fisherman's Wharf, Haight-Ashbury, the CfMC office and more.

At 7pm, the tour will stop at CfMC headquarters for an open house reception including refreshments and snacks.

Not joining us for the tour? You can still join us for the open house. Our offices are at 547 Howard Street (between 1st and 2nd streets).

If you plan to join us for the trolley ride, please e-mail us to reserve your spot. Reservations will be open until the evening of Thursday, March 14th.

 

Saturday entertainment choices

Attendees and their guests who are staying the weekend in our fair city are invited to inquire about any of the following Bay Area expeditions.

Your "guides" to the Bay Area will be CfMC employees who reside in the Bay Area. If there is enough interest in an expedition, CfMC will provide an employee "guide" who will coordinate any necessary arrangements (rental car, shuttle, cabs, etc).

CfMC Golf Scramble - The CfMC Golf Scramble will be played Saturday morning at a San Francisco golf course (likely Lincoln Park). Estimated cost is $125/golfer including greens fees, lunch and transportation). Please e-mail Brian to register for the scramble.

CfMC Billiards Challenge - The first ever CfMC Billiards Challenge will be held Saturday afternoon beginning at approximately 4pm (time subject to change). Estimated cost is $30 including snacks and drinks. Please e-mail Charlie McKinney to register for the challenge.

Museum Tours — cost and itinerary based on interest. Please visit thinker.org for information on our fantastic San Francisco museums. Josephine McIver will be your CfMC guide - please contact Josephine if you'd like to participate.

Alcatraz at Night — One of the best kept secrets in San Francisco tourism. To see the Rock at night, please book directly with Alcatraz Tours.

Sailing on the Bay with Gene - CfMC's licensed sailing captain, Gene Filipi, will be setting sail Saturday and Sunday around mid-day on the San Francisco Bay. Space is limited, so contact Gene directly to reserve your seat.
